Objective

The PHS MoU Group is dedicated to the diffusion of PHS wireless technology worldwide. The Objective is to introduce, operate and spread the PHS on a world-wide basis and thereby to contribute to the improved convenience of telecommunications users and to the consequential benefit of the people of the world.

The Objective is based upon the recognition of the great potential of PHS to economically realize mobile telecommunication networks, wireless local loop, wireless PBX, multimedia application and other certain applications.

The PHS radio interface specification (ARIB RCR-28) is standardized by ARIB (Association of Radio Industries and Businesses), a standards organization for radio system in Japan. PHS MoU Group elaborate specification related to networking layer, applications or service layer based on RCR-28 standard.
