A special exhibition for wireless communication, called WIRELESS JAPAN 2008 was held in Big Site, Tokyo during July 22 to 24, 2008. Over 180 enterprises and institutions exhibited their products and introduced their latest technology and service. WILLCOM, Kyocera, Sharp, Abit displayed products related to PHS industry. We hereby introduce them below:

1   WILLCOM Inc.

Presentation related to XGP WILLCOM CORE and demonstration of the service has attracted much attention in WILLCOM booth. Besides, Touch & Try corner is set up to display Smart Phone WILLCOM 03 and UMPC WILLCOM D4 and many visitors tried the models. 

2  Kyocera Corp.

XGP base station and various models of PHS terminals were on display in Kyocera booth. Security reinforced business model, WX330K for Biz, is furbished with various functions to restrict web and memory card access defined by the owner. Besides, HONEY BEE™ series, which has impressed the public with a lovely character of honeybee, has also attracted great attention.

3  Sharp Corp.

In Sharp booth, the world first UMPC WILLCOM D4 that carries Centrino® Atom™ and Smart Phone WILLCOM 03 were exhibited.

4  Abit Corp.

Mini-sized PHS terminal Strap Phone was on display in Abit booth. Having the same size with FRISK*, Strap Phone carries basic functions including voice and mail. This model is designed to explore one owner’s demand of a 2nd handset.
