  Fujitsu Ltd. released FMV-BIBLO LOOX S9/70W, an ultralight PC with a built-in "Air H"IN" module.
The "Air H"" is a service name of the PHS packet switched communications, provided by DDI-POCKET, Inc. Built-in "Air H"IN" module has a capability of switching among PIAFS method (maximum 64 kbps), the 32-kbps packet method enabling continuous connection and a flex change method (maximum 64 kbps) automatically according to the data volume.

Therefore, users can choose among those from the three methods depending on the way they make use of the equipment. (For details of the packet method and the flex-change method, please refer to the PHS MoU News No. 35.)
The telephone number of the "Air H"IN" module can be obtained through online sign-up, and mobile Internet access is possible just from the day of PC purchase. Since the weight of this PC including the "Air H"IN" module and battery is only 890 g all together, users can carry it inside a bag anytime.

There are various usage plans offered by DDI-POCKET such as "continuous connection plan" (monthly flat rate of 4,930 yen [approx. US$38]) in which users can enjoy full-time access to the Internet without care for charges and "by-usage plan" (20 yen [approx. US$0.15] per 60 sec.) which charges according to the usage time with no basic monthly charge.
