1) Visit to ZTE Corporation

The day after the General Meeting (January 16, 2003), participants moved from Macau to Shenzhen to visit ZTE Corporation's headquarters located in the Hi-tech Industrial Park.

After the company introduction and their products presentation were made in an exhibition room, a factory tour of the switching products' manufacturing line was conducted.

After that, in the presence of Mr. Ye Wei Min, Vice President, Dr. Wang Shou Chen, Product General Manager, a discussion about the General Meeting in Macau, PHS's present situation and the future development was held in the conference room.

2) Visit to UTStarcom, Inc.

On January 17, participants visited UTStarcom's Shenzhen R&D Center also in the Hi-tech Industrial Park.

Firstly, Mr. Pat Chan, GM & VP Engineering, made presentations on "Corporate Overview" and "PHS Market Opportunity & China Situation" and secondly, he showed the laboratory. Lastly, presentation on "PHS & 3G Coexistence Migration" was made.
