Kyocera launches real PHS Web Browser Phone
"AH-K3001V" is an "Air-H" PHONE" for both voice and data services so that the users can enjoy clear voice intrinsic to the PHS and DDI POCKET's flat-rate data communications service as well. The most appealing feature of "AH-K3001V" is its built-in HTML Internet browser "Opera" (first for the Japanese PHS and cellular phone as of April, 2004, Source: Kyocera) which enables to browse the richly expressive HTML (for PC) sites usually accessed from PCs, in addition to the CHTML (Compact HTML for mobile) site which can be browsed by the existing PHS and cellular phones. Without carrying PC or PDA, "AH-K3001V" solely enables the users to enjoy wide range Internet surfing, chatting, access to PIM (Personal Information Manager) on the net, as well as electronic bulletin board etc. "AH-K3001V" can achieve maximum use of DDI POCKET's flat-rate data communications service and readily realize a mobile Internet environment as well.
