ABIT was founded in 1985 and has been developing and manufacturing the communications system, computer system and its exclusive engine LSI for about 20 years.

     ABIT's unique technologies have long been attracting attentions from inside and outside of the telecommunications industries and many companies have introduced the system made by ABIT such as a common channel signaling system technology for switchboard connection, international ISDN service system etc.
     ABIT's unique telecommunications network technologies have been backed up by the basic technologies such as exclusive LSI development, OS development, telecommunications protocol processing technology etc. as well as advanced system technologies and developed in not only ABIT's domestic but also several overseas development centers as well. ABIT started the PHS related business in 1990 and supply of an exclusive engine LSI for 128 Kbps PHS data communications card for DDI POCKET's service to set makers in 2002.
     At present, total solutions necessary for developing the PHS from chipsets to firmware development tool, test system etc., are provided for each set maker.
     Therefore, ABIT's customers now extend over the PHS industries from data card makers to handset and telemetric system makers.
     Further, ABIT has now become a company capable of contributing to its customersEproduct development based on its own wireless technologies, data processing technologies and various cipher/decipher technologies and still continues challenging the development in order to provide the advanced solutions meeting the customer needs.
