     CSC has developed the communication module "CSC Engine" and will launch the new man-machine communications service through the PHS network under the name of "MyAccess" service.


Outline :
     The present PHS is person to person communications service, however, what CSC is proposing would be the man-machine one which is still required and has a possibility of becoming a big market.
     The PHS can sufficiently satisfy its target of "anytime", "anywhere" and "low-cost" communications thanks to its packet system, low man-machine communications volume, low system cost, easy establishment of the small service area etc.


Product Features :
     Newly developed "CSC Engine" (CE-001P) is a "black box" contained antenna etc. and it enables the product development without the professional engineers in communications and software area, so customers can use such product by simply turning it on.

Possible Applications :
     * Surveillance camera
     * Toys
     * Vending machine etc.
     * Life related, such as gas, water supply, door lock etc.
     * Two-way pager
     * Various types of remote controllers
     * Cows and sheep counting in the vast stock farm
     Above are now being in the last stage of performance confirmation and further various new applications are also thinkable.

Mr. Murata's Profile :
     Mr. Murata has a long relationship with the PHS MoU and especially, has given a lecture on the PHS at the university in China (Beijing) in around 1995.
     Until 3 years before, he's been with Panasonic Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. (Panasonic) and has many friends within Matsushita group as well as the telecommunications industries.He set up MIPS study group in May, 2004 and founded CSC on January 11, 2005.
     The testing environment is now under preparation.He explained that his theory is that the telecommunications market growth has the rhythm of almost 5 - 7 years period and the next wave should be to sell not communications, but services.
     Further, the Japanese business was basically a venture.Before and after the world war II, the present leading companies, such as Panasonic, Sanyo, Sony etc. had been founded and grew as a venture business.However, they reached their limit in the period of high economic growth and recently, a promising venture business is becoming to take a leadership he thinks.
