    PHS internationalization promotion organization PHS MoU Group (Secretariat : Chiyoda-Ku, Tokyo, Japan / Secretary General : Mr. Shoichi Sugiura) is pleased to announce that the worldwide PHS subscribers as of October 2006 have exceeded 100 million.
    The PHS MoU Group is an organization which is positively promoting Japan originated PHS communications technology to the world and conducting international standardization and promotion activities in order to make that technology diffused outside Japan as well.
    We will continuously trying our effort to adopt PHS in more areas in the world by making full use of its advantages “High Quality and Low Consumption Power, Reliability and Safety” from now on.
