Demonstration of Next-generation PHS, which is officially recommended as one of the BWA Wireless System Standards at ITU-R held this March, is done in a public occasion for the first time.

Video that recorded the whole course of field experiment is shown, and report is made about the smooth progress of system development.

More over, the base station for Next-generation PHS test and terminals are taken into the exhibition site to play the streaming cartoon film through the demonstrated large-capacity data communication of a maximum speed over 20Mbps. People jostled in to see the public demonstration which gives a glimpse on the new possibility of Next-generation PHS.
