This is a special edition of the mail magazine about WILLCOM FORUM & EXPO 2007, which was held as a session of Tokyo International Forum in Yuraku-cho on Apr. 12 and 13.

We hope that the mail magazine will give those who were unable to present the forum some useful references.

Despite of the reservation system we adopted on website in hope to control the amount of participants, up to as many as 5,000 people attended WILLCOM FORUM & EXPO 2007 in two days. It can be felt that PHS has managed to follow the pace of the age and it's still keeping evolving, despite that eleven years have past since it was firstly commercialized. Also, the discussion on the construction of the Next-generation PHS system is pushed forward based on the new Next-generation PHS Standard. We have received a good amount of feedback from the exposition of various contents about Next-generation PHS.

One of the exposition items which have left the visitors a strong impression is W-ZERO3, the inexperienced charm of this mobile tool lies with its computer-like design with handset-like weight and its low running cost. The seemingly similar model might have been seen on the telecom market before, although strong response was only received this time.

This is attributed to the thorough market research done by Willcom Inc., as well as the mutual effort of relevant parties and companies who participated in the development of the mobile tool.

In addition, the introduction of the practical utilization of W-ZERO3 in Naitou Securitiesf Touch Trade System has brought visitors new surprises with fresh experience.

The development of multiple utilizations other than game-related function is taken into consideration in hope to create more convenience and fresh joy for users.

The mobile tool raised great interest among forum attendants from aboard. It is observed that many people have asked questions about it and guides answered those questions cordially.

Not only in Japan, but also in all other countries that have adopted and will adopt PHS, we expect that this new formation of the mobile tool, which combines multiple utilizations, will give the world new surprises.
