  • OWG
    Activities conducted in 2006 and activity plans for 2007 are reported by Mr. Yoshida, the chairman of OWG.

    • The Year of 2006
      OWG has been working on the possibility to introduce itself as well as exchange information with system vendors in Chile and Honduras.

    • The Year of 2007
      OWG will reinforce the introduction and exchange of information with system vendors in Chile and Honduras. It will also provide necessary support to Chinese vendors and carriers concerning the launch of packet service.

  • PWG
    Activities conducted in 2006 and activity plans for 2007 are reported by Mr. Akatsuka, the chairman of PWG.

    • The Year of 2006
      SWG2 is keeping the bi-month publication of newsletter and maintaining the update of website.
      Activities of SWG1 and SWG3 are under suspension.

    • The Year of 2007
      Exert all possible potential of PHS MoU Group to strengthen the promotion of Next-Generation PHS. To achieve the target, set up Ad hoc SWG4 to carry out activities to execute XG-P promotion projects.
      The three major tasks of Ad hoc SWG4 include:
      1. The creation of new name and logo for XG-P
      2. The opening of new website for XG-P
      3. The execution of promotion activities on various IT exhibitions in Asia.
