PHS Packet Data Service in China |

| Packet data service is started as one of the PHS services in China since last year. |
The data speed is can reach up to 128kbps. |
Now in China, major cities including Qingdao, Jinan, Beijing, Shijiazhuang, Tangshan, Haerbin, Taiyuan, Ningxia in North China and Hangzhou and Quanzhou in South China have started providing the service. |
Data service charge differs from area to area but in Beijing, annual service can be obtained at the fixed payment of CNY800. |

With the offer of the service, Willcom Inc. and China Unicom（China Netcom before）built up cooperative relationship to jointly make specification for packet data service and carry out network optimization. It is now cooperating with China on the development of packet service.
